IT'S HERE! EOC WEEK IS UPON US! Here's what you need to know to survive it:
Pre-Calculus: You're not taking an EOC in here. Phew. You do, however, have your Unit 7 test on Wednesday. How exciting! Study up on those vectors. We have 1 last lesson on Monday and it isn't anything too crazy. H. Geometry: Thursday and Friday are THE DAYS!! Your review packet is due Tuesday. I gave you EOC resources before Spring Break and they are listed on your class page as well. PLEASE attempt the usatestprep (4 out of 23 of you have done it so far) assignment I created. You will also want to check out the Probability stuff I told you about. Hi there! Here's some info to get you through the next few weeks...
Pre-Calculus: You have 2 tests left (Vectors and Probability). The next one is Wednesday, May 2nd, followed by the last one on Monday, May 14th. Seniors take their Final on May 16th. Honors Geometry: You have a test coming up next Wednesday, April 25th. Your EOC is the following week on May 3rd and May 4th. You need to be preparing for this using the resources I gave you before Spring Break (also under your class link above). Don't forget to sign-up for retake tests if you need to. Click here to sign-up. Finish Strong!! Only 2 more weeks to go before Spring Break! Here's what you need to know:
- I will NOT be tutoring on Wednesday morning. Pre-Calculus: Due date for your conic flower is quickly approaching! I want to see your draft (the model of your flower on plain white paper) by Friday this week for approval. You Unit 5 Test is Monday 3/26. You need to be memorizing the Trig Identities and the Sum/Difference Formulas. Honors Geometry: Your Unit 5 Test is this Thursday. Brace yourselves, Unit 6 is a beast. I will NOT be tutoring on Thursday 3/15 after school. Please plan accordingly.
Happy Weekend! Hope you had a pleasant week. Here's what you need to know to survive the upcoming one:
Pre-Calculus: We are starting our very last unit of Trigonometry on Monday! You know what this means... Your midterm is coming up! You'll be taking it the Friday before Spring Break. Also, you have a quiz on Friday over everything we're doing all week. Don't forget to work on your flower project. I'll be asking you for a model of your flower in 2 weeks (3/23). H. Geometry: We are almost done with Unit 4 already! We have one more thing on Monday and then review and test. Don't forget Wednesday is early-release so you'll have your test on Thursday and we will start Unit 5 on Wednesday. Only 4 weeks until Spring Break! But who's counting, right? Here's what you need to know to make it through next week:
Pre-Calculus: Quiz on Tuesday and Test on Friday. We have 1 more Trig unit and then it will be Midterm time! Go back and re-work old Trig quizzes or come in for tutoring and re-work your Trig tests; your Midterm is right before Spring Break. Honors Geometry: Your Unit 3 test is Tuesday. Make sure you're re-working the 2 quizzes for this Unit!! One week until next break!! You can do this! Here's what you need to know to get through it:
Pre-Calculus: We will be moving on to applications of trig functions this week. You will have a quiz on Wednesday and a test on Friday. Honors Geometry: We are on track with the Unit 3 calendar. Notice you have a quiz on Thursday. Hello math peeps! I hope you had a great week. Here's what's coming up next:
PLEASE NOTE: I will NOT be tutoring on Tuesday, but I WILL tutor on Monday afternoon instead. Please plan accordingly. Pre-Calc: You have 6 graphs to draw as practice over the weekend. You will have more graph practice on Monday and your quiz will be Tuesday. H. Geometry: Your next quiz is Tuesday. We are going full-force with the constructions. They do get a little harder as we go so make sure you are keeping up with them at home. Watch Youtube videos; there's tons of them for every construction we do in class. Hello there! Congratulations on surviving your first full week of Spring 2018! I hope you've enjoyed it. Here's what you need to know to survive another:
Pre-Calculus: You will have a quiz on Tuesday. On this quiz, you will be required to fill-out a blank Unit Circle. That means you need to be memorizing all the degrees/radians we learned today, because we are adding more stuff to memorize on Monday. The quiz will also include the vocab you learned this week (such as: coterminal and reference angle). H. Geometry: Your Unit 2 Test is Monday. Notice the answer key to the review guide is posted under your class tab. Hopefully this class hasn't made you sweat too bad so far. Buckle your seat belt because Unit 3 is a beast of a ride! :) Have an awesome weekend! Mrs. Izquierdo Hi there! Hope you are enjoying your 3 day weekend. Here's what's up for our next 4 day week!
Pre-Calculus: You will have your first test on Friday. H. Geometry: You have your first test on Tuesday. |
