Hi there! I've had to make a couple changes to your Unit 2 calendars due to my being out of town for my grandfather's funeral this week. I'll go over the changes in class, but here's the gist.
Pre-Calc: I will move the STEAM project workdays to 2/4 and 2/5 (keeping 1/30 more than likely). You'll get Thursday and Friday to practice graphing trig functions and then I'll keep your Quiz in the same spot so you'll have 2 days to ask any questions you might have. Acc Pre-Calc: I'm adding a day of review/work on application project and pushing your test to Monday 2/4. Ready for the 3-day weekend? Congrats on making it through your first unit test this week! We are one week closer to February break! Here's what's coming your way this week.
Pre-Calc: You have two quizzes this week. Thursday's quiz is going to be filling out a blank Unit Circle. On Friday, you'll use the Unit Circle from Thursday to answer questions on a different quiz. This will all make more sense as we learn the Unit Circle this week. I had good intentions of starting your STEAM project this week, but couldn't get computer lab access. If you look at the Unit 2 calendar you'll notice that I've set aside 3 days for you guys to work on the project the following week. Acc Pre-Calc: we're going full-force with trig graphs. Your questions from Friday's activity are due on Tuesday. Hi there! Hope you had a great first week back. We are going full force ahead with lots of learning taking place and quizzes already.
Don't forget this week is Spirit Week; here are the days: Monday: 90's Tuesday: Twin Wednesday: Pink Thursday: GQ/Vogue Friday: Super Spirit Here's what you need to know for your class this week: Pre-Calc: Quiz on Monday. All conics will be on it, without transformations (except for circles). We are almost done with Unit 1 already! Your Unit 1 test is on Friday. Acc Pre-Calc: I had to update your Unit 1 Calendar. It was nice meeting all of you over the last couple days. As I mentioned in class, this is where I'll be posting about once a week with any upcoming info. You all received a calendar in class today. It is also posted under your class tab if you were to lose it. Acc Pre-Calc: notice your first quiz is on Thursday. It involves you memorizing the Unit Circle! Pre-Calc: your first quiz is next Monday (1/14). It will have all 4 conics on it, but without any transformations. |
